Childrens Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)

A special liturgy for the those ages 4-11

CHILDRENS LITURGY OF THE WORD - A SPECIAL LITURGY FOR THE CHILDREN!

On Palm Sunday, March 25th, a special Childrens Liturgy of the Word will be held during the regular 10AM Family Mass.

What is Childrens Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)?  CLOW is an age appropriate Liturgy of the Word offered for ages 4-11.  Younger children may come escorted by a parent or older sibling. This will be held at the 10AM Family Mass. No pre-registration is necessary. All children are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Just before the Liturgy of the Word begins for the assembly, thes children are invited to to the front altar and will go to the Chapel (at St. Thomas) or Hall (at St. Johns) with the Religious Education Leaders and their helpers. During this time, the volunteer teacher leads the children through prayers, readings and a simplified discussion and an activity based on the readings of the day.

The children learn about the same Scripture readings as the rest of the parish but in a more simplified manner.
